Fire Blanket

A fire blanket is made from a fire-resistant material, designed to smother flames by cutting off the supply of oxygen to the fire. It serves as a crucial fire safety tool, especially for individuals with little to no experience using fire extinguishers. These blankets are particularly effective in small, contained fires such as cooking fires or when someone’s clothes catch fire.

Fire blankets are capable of withstanding high temperatures, typically up to 900 degrees Fahrenheit, making them ideal for tackling kitchen fires, clothing fires, or small fires in confined spaces.

By simply placing the blanket over the fire, it helps prevent the fire from spreading, as it restricts oxygen, ultimately extinguishing the flames. They are a simple yet effective tool to have in emergency situations, offering an easy-to-use alternative to fire extinguishers for those who may be unfamiliar with handling them.
